Make a refreshing
change
  1. Flexible Appointments
Traditionally appointments are booked in weekly. However they don't always have to be on the same day.
  2. Quality
Not only can you depend on our qualifications, but being a member of the BACP, you can also guarentee our ethics.
  3. Value for Money
Paying over the odds doesn't always mean you get the best therapy. We also don't increase our fees year on year.
What to
Expect
Have you been to counselling before? Well whether you have or haven't it can still be a bit nerve wracking. Your expectations or assumptions might also differ from the reality so lets see if we can get some clarification.

Your Journey

Everyone's counselling journey is different, but it might look a little like this. You'll make contact with me either by phone email or website message.

We'll have a little assessment to break the ice and see how watermelon counselling can help you. The assessment will last around 20-30 minutes so make sure you have time and are in a quiet space.

If we are both happy that we can work well together then we will book in some sessions, usually weekly and each lasting 50 minutes.

We will have regular reviews to see if the counselling is right for you.

Telephone Counselling Tips

  • Find a quiet, safe space to sit in prior to your session starting time

  • Allow yourself the time to talk without getting distracted with other tasks

  • Try to reflect on your situation between sessions, which will promote quicker change

  • Make notes if you like
Isle of Man Counselling Service
We offer telephone counselling to all on the Isle of Man who want it. We will phone all clients for each session so that there is no additional cost to you. And if you need to contact us between sessions, we have a number of online options, again to keep costs low.

Having telephone sessions illiminates the need to travel accross the island, thus becoming more convienient and accessible. Why let your mental health suffer because you haven't the time or energy for a long or difficult journey.
